DOD has fired up an office for commemorating the 50th Anniversary of
Vietnam.

I don't know what they're planning, only that OSD has launched an office and
a website. The website lists a number of organizations supporting Vietnam
Veterans and historical projects. With all the veterans groups in Colorado,
it might be worth letting those groups know this project is under way.
Looks like the official US start of the War was Mar, 1965, with the arrival
of the first US combat troops so, we should have another 4 years before we
do anything. But, considering Congress pushed this, we'll probably see some
efforts before that. I'll let you know if I see anything else.
